TNM's TikTok Account Reinstated After an Unexplained Ban
TikTok reinstated the Texas Nationalist Movement's account a week after banning it without explanation, as the movement pressed its broader fight against Big Tech censorship.
TikTok has reinstated the Texas Nationalist Movement's account, which it banned on January 27 with no explanation and no prior strikes or violations. The account was restored on February 2, still with no reason given for the ban.
“TikTok will now know: do not mess with Texas,” said TNM President Daniel Miller. “Censorship is illegal in our state, and we will hold you accountable.” The movement said it would keep fighting Big Tech censorship, and noted that it is suing Facebook's parent company, Meta, over a similar block on its content.
